NKOTB

I am a little slow on the post since it has been a few weeks, but I am still completely in love. The girls and I went to go and see New Kids on the Block in concert. Yes, I was madly in love with them from about 8-12 years of age, but after seeing them again I have fallen madly back in love. Who says you can't fall in love with the same person(s) twice?

Well I went fully expecting to have a good time with the girls and fully reminisce about NKOTB. I really did not expect for them to, one, put on a good concert and, two for me to really being attracted to them again. But both things happened.

A few things were still the same-- from people who somehow still had their original 90's shirts, to crimped hair and jean skirts. It was fun to see people all decked out for the occasion. And I am really hoping that they don't still dress like that. There were also a few differences... for example I was able to partake in adult beverages (aka beer). Also, t-shirts were almost $45, which I think is a total ripoff. I am going to find a better deal online.

Overall it was a way better experience than I had even hoped for. It was good girl camaraderie, Amy enjoyed her first birthday celebration for the year, they put on a great concert (which translates to 25 year old woman becoming 12 year olds as we were yelling out hanging tough while throwing our hands above us in the air), and I have a new/old band to add to my favorites list. Don't worry they are now officially on my IPOD.

The magic of New Kids has made me fall in love with them all over again. Oh! To be 12 again.
