My first redo!

Currently one of my favorite hobbies is to go vintage shopping and also to do some thrifting. I can find some really unique things for a great price. I have purchased several things previously with the intent to redo them but several of them are still sitting on my to do list. This weekend I was at Good JU JU and found my first piece that I would refurb! This store is open the first weekend of every month and I have been almost every month for the last 8 (how long I have known about it). And I can always find some wonderful treasure waiting for me. Something I have been eyeing lately are these great ornate mirrors that have been painted bright, fun colors. So I found the perfect mirror during my most recent trip and my lovely mom was gracious enough to buy it for me. I went to Walmart and bought some turquoise paint (which is my new color). A bit of painter's tape, a few coats of paint, and handy Ian to hang it up has started a new addiction for me. I loved recreating this mirror and am ready to tackle the other pieces that have been collecting dust.
