Dog Parade

So today Ian and stopped down at the plaza so I could get a scarf I had been eying for awhile. Well unfortunately we were in a bit of a hurry since we had a birthday cookout to attend. Well, we parked and were walking and I was thinking to myself, "man there are a lot of dogs here today" and as I paid more attention I realized that they were all dressed up.

Apparently today was the Plaza dog trick or treating. Outside most stores were employees with dog treats. The dogs went store to store in their costumes to get treats. It could have possibly been one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I am sure people who don't have dogs or are not dog people were not amused, but it was great to see all of those people with their animals. And so many people dedicated to making it a fun day for dogs.

I was sad that I didn't have more time to sit and observe and I was also sad that I didn't have my camera as it would have been fun to share. I am thinking next year that Killian and I may have to partake in the festivities.
