What is it about watching people wipe out that is so funny? Watching nosedives, people slipping, being hit, and heads slamming as they fall makes me laugh. It must make others laugh too, as the new show Wipeout is based on that premise. Contests compete in stunts which of course requires most of them to crash and burn, and don't forget the slow motion replay that shows every movement as they fall. I have spent the evening cringing and laughing at the expense of others who are willing to crash in order to make me laugh. I am hoping this doesn't make me a horrible person.
