Well as many of you may already know, I am a complete book nerd. I will choose reading over almost any other activity there is. I am the person who will spend the entire day reading a book and finish the entire book in that day. I love becoming involved with the characters and be a part of someone else life. It is a great escape and something that calms me.

One of my favorite ways to get books (beside just browsing at the book store) is recommendations from my friends. Most of them know what I like and give me good choices. I have found a website that make this even easier. It is called good reads and basically people post books they have read online with a review. You can go through and find out what others are reading and their opinions on the book. It is basically a social networking site for books. Except you can view peoples opinions on books even if they are not your friend.

I am in love with this site. It is absolutely wonderful and I have already added several new books to my list of planning to read. It also gives you the opportunity to keep a running tally of the books you have read and your opinion on them. If you love to read go and check out this site. If you don't, then check it out anyway. Who knows maybe something will catch your eye.
